When we live in such a sun drenched country like Kenya – where else would you entertain but the outdoors!?

My patio is like a living extension of my house – its where we have breakfasts on the weekends, my quiet cups of tea and on sunny afternoons the kids take over the larger dining table for their school projects. I love the large doors thrown open to the flower filled garden – it brings a wonderful energy into the home having this inside- out living…

This year is all about the sweet small, subtle things within your own home that make you ultimately happy. In my case, its adding a small pot of plump white roses to a vintage cutlery holder, adding candles here and there and fluffing up some bright cushions before my guests arrive. It just makes the whole experience so much more lovely and makes your guests feel welcome and pampered….Enjoy your space and change up the way you entertain this year….We are so blessed to enjoy the everyday comforts that we have xx
