I created this recipe one afternoon, trying to introduce a healthy after school snack for the children. It was a little bit of experimentation and thinking about flavours and textures that would appeal to the kids – and what a nice surprise, this turned out to be absolutely delicious and actually quite complex in taste!

The plate was quickly cleared with a second round, whipped up quickly in under 5 minutes. I must admit, you have to make this dish and eat it within half an hour as you still want the crunch of the muesli. Once refrigerated – the entire dish softens and loses it special texture, so serve them up quickly!

There really isn’t much of a method to this recipe – but don’t underestimate the end result!

Simply spread a level teaspoon of cream cheese over the slice of apple, next layer peanut butter and top with a teaspoon of muesli! That is it!
