Friday – Every Friday night deserves Ice cream!!!!!!! This is my Taste Safari treat to you, so rustle this up and abandon yourself to sheer and utter pleasure!
This first recipe brings together two of my very favourite ingredients, apple strudel and ice cream! It’s such an indulgent treat and easy to put together – a totally appropriate use of left over apple pie or strudel!! A sundae in my mind is an assembly job…pulling together all your favourite flavours. It’s also meant to have an element of fun to it, so don’t take it too seriously and enjoy yourself!
Serves 4
8 large scoops of vanilla bean ice cream
8 thin slices of apple strudel or apple pie
Peanut brittle for four people (approx 1 cup)
1 cup butterscotch sauce (see my recipe under Hot Chocolate)
4 tbs whipped cream
