Today I had the privilege of donning my chef uniform and working in the Kempinski kitchen alongside Chef Fernando! whipping up a decadent Easter treat for all my Taste Safari fans!
These chocolate truffles are to die for, and super easy to make in the chocolate-mania of Easter!
All you need is
600 grams 70 % dark chocolate
500 grams whipped cream
50 ml flavouring of any sort (vanilla, peppermint, coffee)
Unsalted butter
Boil the cream and add the dark chocolate into it, mix well.
Once the chocolate mixture gets a little cold add the butter and the flavour of your preference.
Keep the mixture in the fridge for 10 minutes.
Take the mixture out of the fridge after the 10 minutes have lapsed and mold into a shape of your preference (go wild with this!)
Coat with either coco powder, pistachio powder, desiccated coconut for a sophisticated finish!
